Fashion at The Master's

This was my first golf tournament, and I must say I'M OBSESSED! It was ridiculously fun. I went into it with more excitement for my Fiance than anything else, but in the end I had found a new love. The opportunity to go came fairly last minute, and I found myself at a loss for what to wear. When I looked online there really wasn't much to help first time attendants, so I'm gonna tell you a little about what women were wearing at The Master's. Cameras are strictly forbidden, so I'll describe the best I can.

If you want to blend in, women's golf wear is a good way to go: Think a golf skort and a sleeveless polo with flats check out clothing by Lady Hagen, Lacoste, or any of the traditional sporting lines like Nike, Adidas, or Puma. Preppy shift dresses were also bountiful, try Lilly Pulitzer's website, or a traditional Lacoste Polo dress. My favorite outfit of the day was one of those outfits that blended in, but also stood out: A green, navy, and cream argyle button-down sweater vest belted at the waist with a vintage navy Lacoste belt (I know it was vintage because I have the same one in red), the vest was over a green button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up, a pair of navy and white striped seersucker shorts, and a pair of saddle oxfords.

It's safe to say, that it's hard to go wrong as long as you're comfortable, but it's also a good way to play with the preppy style mixing and matching seersucker, argyle, railroad stripe, collared shirts, and cardigans.
